To reach it you have to follow the road and the signs towards Castel Sant'Angelo. The visitor center and the lake can be reached with a short walk back. The nearest village, Vico del Gargano, is 12 km away. The forest police station is less than 1 km away and we saw them pass several times during the late afternoon. After our arrival another crew also decided to stop for the night. A quiet and peaceful stop.
