Nicely terraced area, surrounded by greenery, shaded and perfect for relaxation. Recent and functioning services. Manager and helpers available and kind. For medium-long vessels a little more attention is required in the manoeuvres, but nothing is impossible and the staff offers assistance. My children and I also appreciated the possibility of making fires, rigorously inside stone circles and cooking on the ground, an experience that is not easily repeatable. Also try the cakes from the bar, they are good. The center of the nearby village can be reached in two 100m long climbs. There are 2 grocery stores (don't expect supermarkets), a wolf wildlife area and good restaurants. With a 15-minute walk you can reach Lake Barrea. I recommend the easy and panoramic path I2+G4 to the Camosciara, possibly with a return by bus, times approximately every 40'. The campsite is a truly admirable facility. In full emergency covid all services equipped with anti-contagion devices. Well kept spaces, all clean and tidy. With a nice walk you get to Civitella Alfedena and always with a nice walk to the lake of Barrea and to Villetta Barrea. During the night the deer kept us company in the middle of their love period. We had a huge one wandering around the campsite and making call noises. Very suggestive.
