The extension of the agritourism is 2 hectares, orchards and woods inside cheer the permanence of guests and the presence of a perfectly preserved 1860 millstone allows guests to enjoy their fireplace in the winter for other evenings times while in summer it guarantees shade and refreshment from the heat of our beautiful Sicilian sun. Surrounded by the lush wild nature of Etna, our camping site enjoys peace and tranquility and offers a splendid view of its summit which, where the volcano awoke, would give a spectacle of lava flows and explosions. The location of the agritourism company is to be considered strategic since it is located halfway (about 12 km) between the sea and the ski lifts, the chairlift on the north side of Etna is well known, ideal for skiing in the winter season. Furthermore discovering the northern slope of the highest active volcano in Europe following the volcanic traces left during the previous eruptions is simple thanks to the possibility of long or short walks or real excursions for those who love trekking at different levels of difficulty . The same distance (12km) separates the camping from the Alcantara and Taormina gorges reachable by car or public transport, as well as all the Etna villages, the coast, the places of tourist interest, Catania with its Greek-Roman heritage and Baroque and Bellini airport. Very interesting is the presence of the Circumetnea railway (contrada terre morte and linguaglossa) which allows the visit in a small train (littorina) of the villages surrounding our volcano. For nature lovers, excursions are organized along the Etna trails, winter ski lifts, Alcantara Gorges, Taormina and nature trails.
