Acquatravel: introducing
AT-Clor 8000, an innovative product for treating the water contained in the motorhome’s tank. For its official launch,
Acquatravel has chosen
Fit Your Camper, the trade fair dedicated to accessories for motorhomes, caravans, vans and leisure vehicles, whose 2026 edition is scheduled to take place in
Bologna from 9 to 12 April.
AT-Clor 8000 is a system made up of a special tablet to be inserted into Acquatravel’s blue Compact filter – designed to retain sediments down to 5 microns – so as to release, at each fill-up, the correct quantity of product to keep the water in the motorhome’s tank drinkable for up to 6 days.
A single tablet ensures treatment of up to 8,000 litres of water, equivalent to around 80 full 100-litre tanks, or 2 years from the production date (in compliance with the expiry date shown on the packaging). The new Compact filter has been specifically designed to house the
AT-Clor 8000 tablet and guarantee maximum effectiveness. Anyone who owns the previous version of Acquatravel’s Compact filter will need to replace it with the new version in order to use AT-Clor 8000. Once wet, the tablet retains its shape and consistency, does not crumble and does not lose its specific properties during filter cleaning operations.

AT-Clor 8000 will be available through the
Acquatravel dealer network immediately after the
Fit Your Camper 2026 trade fair. For correct use of the product, Acquatravel recommends, before every water fill-up, allowing the first few litres to flow through and drain away (around 30 seconds of flow), before proceeding with use, as indicated on the product packaging. In the halls of Fit Your Camper, visitors will find AT-Clor 8000 at the
Acquatravel stand C16 at BolognaFiere. At the stand, Donata Donati, the company’s managing director, and Fabio Viviani, inventor and technical driving force, will welcome visitors, offering advice, presenting the wide range of products and describing the technical features of the many systems developed by the company. Fabio Viviani will also take part in the talk "Safety on board motorhomes", together with Gualtiero Imberti, owner of Coston Camper, a Truma service centre for Lombardy, to discuss gas, electricity and water, elements that are crucial to travel safety.

Fit Your Camper, a dedicated zone at Parco Nord where four-legged friends (who will be welcome at the show) can run and play together.
